Is your family outgrowing your current home? Are you dreaming of a bigger kitchen, a spare bedroom or a new family room? Which Way to Go?

Sometimes, all it takes is a simple bump-out to your existing kitchen or bathroom to give you the room you require. Other times, a whole addition is the solution to your space needs. If your home sits on a smaller lot, you may be thinking about building up. A second-story addition with bedrooms and bathrooms or a new master suite are both popular requests. No matter which way you decide to go, we’re here to give you the guidance you need.

Architectural Integrity

We’ll build you an addition that looks and feels like it’s been “home” from the start. Nothing ruins the look of a house quite like an addition that looks like it’s a bad afterthought. Our design-build services take the old and the new, and blend them together in both form and function. We stay loyal to the integrity of your original home’s architecture. We just make it better! We create attractive home additions that give your family the space it needs to grow – be that with children, elderly parents or a home business.

The Design-Build Process

If your current home needs more space, an addition can give you what you’re looking for and add value to your home. When we plan a home addition with you, we take special care throughout the design process to make sure your addition is built structurally sound, complementing your existing home down to the smallest details.

Our design-build process consists of the designer, project manager and general contractor who work as a team to design and construct your new addition. Our talented craftsmen work hard to make the building of your addition an enjoyable experience for your family. We pay attention to every detail and are always available to answer your questions, and we keep your home as spotless as possible during construction.

Though it’s bit more involved than this, we find it helps to break down our design-build process into three phases:

  1. Consultation: Our initial meeting with you provides the basis for your custom home addition. We assess your practical needs and stylistic preferences to create a preliminary plan and design. You also get to see a proposed scope of work and an estimated budget range so you can see what is practically and financially involved with your project.
  2. Design: This is the phase where you make material and product selections as well as approve the plans for your new space. One you approve a design, we give you a firm scope of work and final budget.
  3. Production: As we move into the construction phase, materials are ordered, permits are obtained, and scheduling is determined. Your project manager oversees the day-to-day construction and schedules tradespeople and deliveries of materials and products. Throughout the entire process, you are kept informed of your project’s progress.
